We thought this would be a great escape from the heat of 100 degrees in Chicago. But as soon as we saw the pool loaded with kids, like flies on sugar, we knew it would not be for us. Also, there was scum and sweat constantly floating around and who knows what else--maintenance could not get rid of it. The pool water was murky and to add to all the rugrats, there were 2 groups of beer schluggers getting drunk alongside the pool edges. The manager had to come and intervene 3 times--they would not keep the beer bottles out of the pool. My oh my---what a disappointment. I guess when you pay prices that the majority of travelers can afford--you get what you pay for. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Let this be a warning to all the people who truly want a clean, relaxing escape and not the infringement of disrespectful, obnoxious and in-your-face rude hotel guests. Go to the Grand Geneva, Abbey or Fontana Lake---much classier!
