Ring for Service: The Role of Servants in a Country House

Saturday, May 11, 2013 10:00a to 3:00p

If you love the hit PBS show Downton Abbey, step into the real thing at Liberty Hall Museum! Tours will reflect a typical day in the life of a servant in the Kean mansion in the early 1900s. With the help of family ledgers, diaries, and census data, the museum has been reinterpreted to highlight the places where servants worked, slept, and spent their leisure times. For the fist time ever, view two servants' quarters in Liberty Hall's attic.
