Multi-platinum recording artist and six-time Grammy Award winner John Legend brings his summer
tour to the Tucson Music Hall on Sunday, September 20th. Special guest Laura Izibor will open the
show.
Known for connecting with fans during his dynamic live shows, Legend's concert will feature many of
his biggest singles-from his latest album Evolver's "Green Light" and "Everybody Knows" to the
classic songs from his previous albums-all backed by an extraordinary 11-piece band.
The summer tour comes in support of 2008's Evolver-Legend's first full-length studio album in two
years, which debuted at the #4 slot on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. A crossover sensation,
Evolver has also had success at R&B, Rhythmic Top 40 and Urban radio stations across the US.
Songs on Evolver include the hit singles "Green Light" (featuring Andre 3000) and "Everybody Knows,"
as well as "It's Over" (featuring Kanye West), "No Other Love" (featuring Estelle) and "Quickly"
(featuring Brandy).
Special guest, 20-year-old singer/songwriter/producer Laura Izibor will showcase her passionate,
piano-guided songs that are firmly cemented in soul. On her forthcoming debut album, Let The Truth
Be Told, Izibor continues the lineage set out by artists like Lauryn Hill and Jill Scott; artists who
combine reverence for the traditions of early R&B with a thoroughly modern sensibility.
Don't miss your chance to see John Legend with special guest Laura Izibor.
