Banned and burned in Nazi Germany, All Quiet on the Western Front survives as one of the most powerful anti-war novels of all time. Join us on Monday, November 3rd at 6:30PM for a discussion of Erich Maria Remarque's book to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I.
As a follow-up the library will be showing the 1930’s film version of All Quiet on the Western Front, starring Louis Wolheim and Lewis Ayres on Sunday, November 9th at 2PM.
