Nicholas D. Kristof—journalist, author, New York Times op-ed columnist, and a winner of two Pulitzer Prizes—will appear at Goucher College as the Spring 2013 Robert and Jane Meyerhoff Visiting Professor. His talk is called “Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide." He will address the worldwide maltreatment, marginalization, and brutality toward women and will draw a compelling picture of the trials and triumphs of women struggling for opportunity and equality.
