Sunday, January 6, 1-3 pm. Lapid Matsuo visited Israel in 1971 and fell in love with the land and the Israeli people. Ever since, he has been painting the landscape and architecture of Israel. Over the last 41 years, he has returned to Israel more than 40 times to seek inspiration from the land. Born in Fukuoka, Japan, Matsuo has exhibited his work in Jerusalem, Paris and in most major cities in Japan and won numerous awards.
