Sangria & Stories: Prohibition’s Cultural Upheaval

Wednesday, Oct 1 6:00p to 7:00p

Enormous cultural transformations were taking place in 20th century America during the tumultuous era of Prohibition (1920-1933). Passionate debate was stirring between the “wets” and the “drys,” the working class was on the rise… and so was organized crime. Join us as University of Tampa Assistant Professor of History, Dr. Charles McGraw, shares his special insights into this fascinating period of time. Event includes glass of sangria garage parking and exhibit tour. Reservations required.
