Picnic in the Park

The Picnic in the Park is a springtime tradition for the entire community. Everyone is encouraged to pack a picnic basket and gather in Plant Park on March 14 for a day of simple pleasures. There are strolling musicians, live theater and a concert by the UT Band. This day for the whole family includes games such as horseshoes, badminton, checkers, tiddlywinks, hoops and sticks, and free Blue Bell ice cream. Also, take a cruise on the Hillsborough River aboard Capt. Cliff's Fun Boat.
