Our 20th reunion is set for July 19-20, 2013! Cost: Reunion: $35/person includes the ice breaker and reunion. Cash Bar. Picnic: We are hoping the picnic will be free for everyone, but we are still in the planning stages of this part. We ask that you bring a side dish to share. Friday, July 19: There will be an informal ice breaker at The Venue which is part of The Firehouse on Tallmadge Circle. Hot and Cold Appetizers and a cash bar. We are welcome to carry the party to The Firehouse… Show more Side or over to The Paragon Pub afterward. Saturday, July 20 11:00-2:00 Family Friendly Picnic (Patterson Park is our current idea.) Bring your own side dish. Inflatable Bouncers for the kiddos, games, photo booth, food, musics, and fun! Hoping for a Viking Mascot appearance! 6:00 Reunion at The Venue!!
*Dinner is a Buffet Style Menu that includes Roast Beef, Roasted Chicken, and a Vegetable Lasagna, plus more! Coffee and Iced Tea are included. *There will be music, dancing, photobooths, a video booth, a memory lane wall, and each classmate will take home a memory book featuring "Where are they now" bios. Submit yours pictures, memories, and bios to Regan (Ullom) Levitt at indiansgirl1018@yahoo.com! We will be selling ad space in these books to promote local businesses. *We are currently building playlists of our favorite 90's music for the event. Chris (Rowan) Brim and Harry Boivin have graciously taken the lead on this project. *Chris (Rowan) Brim has agreed to lead the Finding Committee to help track down classmates we have not yet been able to reach. Please help her out by telling people about us and getting them to sign up here and/or join the conversation on facebook. Chris' email address is christinabrim@yahoo.com. The facebook group is call Akron North High School Class of '93. We are also working out details for a service project at North High School to be done in memory of our classmates who have passed on. We will be working with the administration on this but thanks to Angela Thorpe-Martin have some wonderful ideas to collect school supplies, donate what we can to the art and music departments, and participate in a "Spruce Up NHS" Day. We are planning to write a grant to help offset this project. Any funds remaining in the account after all reunion events and the service project are paid in full will be used to create a scholarship in the name of our class.
