Beginning Jewelry / Metalsmithing -Chain, prong settings and rivets - The focus of this Beginning level class will be on soldering, chain making and cold connections. Learn how to make your own jump rings and solder them together to construct a one of a kind chain. Rivets will be demonstrated as well as how to create to simple types of prong setting for stones or found objects. The instructor will also show how to make your own ear wires and other jewelry findings.
