Chasing and Repousse
Chasing and repoussé is the art of making relief designs in sheet metal using small punches. Repoussé refers to using the tools on the back of the sheet to create relief on the front, and chasing refers to using the tools on the front of the sheet to refine the design. Used together, chasing and repoussé can create wonderfully detailed art pieces. In this class you can expect to make a decorative tile, plaque, pendant, or other small item.
