Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR)
The MBSR program was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at UMass Medical Center. This 9 session program, led by Cindy Gittleman, includes instruction in mindfulness meditation practices and concepts, guided mindful yoga/gentle stretching, group discussions, daily home practice assignments, and home practice materials, including four guided practice CDs.
