John Muir: What Has Been Saved; What Has Been Lost

Saturday, Mar 22 9:00a to 4:45p

University of the Pacific, which houses the bulk of John Muir’s papers, letters, sketches and other materials, hosts a day-long symposium with talks by guest authors and historians. This year marks the 100th anniversary of John Muir's death and the 150th anniversary of the Yosemite Grant.
In the one hundred years since John Muir's death, we raise the question: what has been saved; what has been lost that can be directly associated with Muir's pioneering efforts.
