Fishing for Kids is an annual saltwater fishing tournament, hosted by a committee comprised mostly of Shands Engineering employees and pediatric nurses. Sponsors and anglers participate in an all-day fishing tournament in the Gulf of Mexico. A guaranteed winning payout of $2,500 is included in the tournament. Proceeds from this event benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at Shands Hospital for Children at UF.
