State College Area Municipal Band - St. Patty’s Serenade

On St. Patrick’s Day March 17, the band presents a concert of Irish music with a bit of Scottish as well in a thematic program called St. Patty’s Serenade. Big numbers on the program include Mannen Veen (Dear Isle of Man) and Four Scottish Dances. The program also includes Loch Lomond, Irish Tune from County Derry, Irish Washerwoman, Molly on the Shore, Ye Banks and Braes, and Pentland Hills March.

Bagpiper Tim Culbertson will be playing classic Scottish ceremonial music and folk tunes.
