Artist's Talk: Rachid Koraïchi "Eternity is the Absence of Time"

Join us for an evening with Rachid Koraïchi, recipient of the 2011 Jameel Prize. Against the backdrop of his award-winning work, The Invisible Masters, Koraïchi will discuss The Path of Roses, a series of installations that develop over time and in different locations.

The Jameel Prize is the Victoria and Albert Museum's international art prize awarded to a contemporary artist or designer… Show more inspired by traditions of Islamic craft and design. Ten artists and designers were shortlisted.

The exhibition will display works ranging from felt costumes to sculpture made from hand-made terracotta bricks, and from mirror mosaic to digital collages inspired by traditional Persian miniature paintings.
