The Science and Engineering Quad and Teaching Center were made possible by the coming together of diverse technology, design, architecture, landscape, and other talents. The result brings greatly improved science teaching facilities to the Stanford campus.
The William R. Hewlett Teaching Center is approximately 28,000 gross square feet, including two offices, as well as storage and preparation areas for the creation of Physics, Chemistry and Biology demonstrations. Such demonstrations will be conducted in the following teaching spaces:
* Lecture Hall 200: capacity 498
* Bloch Lecture Hall: capacity 186
* Room 101: capacity 49
* Room 102: capacity 65
* Room 103: capacity 49
