What really matters in a political candidate? Should we vote for someone because they are a woman, or from an ethnic minority? Should we care whether they have professed a religious belief? Is it true that an atheist could not become President? And what about a candidate in a same-sex relationship?

The Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Stanford Center on Ethics, African and African-American Studies Program, and Feminist Studies Program invite you to a discussion on all aspects of identity and how they impact on the political process.
