AKC Museum of the Dog Guest Dog of the Week
The AKC Museum of the Dog located off of Mason Road in beautiful Queeny Park presents Guest Dogs to meet the public on weekends from March to November. On Sunday, July 21st, Mary Beth Grieb will present the Scottish Deerhound. A breed of hound (sight hound), it was once bred to hunt the Red Deer by "coursing", until the end of the 19th century. The AKC Museum of the Dog maintains the country's largest collection of canine art.
