Monday, Apr 22, 2013 12:15p to 1:15p

Arny Nadler, associate professor of art at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, discusses his site-specific sculpture, Whelm, which was built on site in front of Gallery 210 on the UMSL campus. Whelm was built over the course of two weeks using 11,000 feet of steel rebar, the reinforcing rod commonly used in concrete construction. Nadler, a native of Chicago, exhibits both indoor and outdoor work nationally.Presented by University of Missouri-St. Louis
