Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday observance,10 a.m. Jan. 21 at University of Missouri-St. Louis is the first of dozens of events in 2013 celebrating UMSL's 50th anniversary.Guest speaker is Dr. Julianne Malveaux, former president of Bennett College for Women. MC is Rev.Martin Rafanan, executive director of Gateway 180, Homelessness Reversed, the largest emergency shelter in Missouri.Video will highlight UMSL's historical civil rights events and figures over the past 50 years.Children's program.
