A Conversation on Community Health

The Atlantic 's Community Health tour makes its second stop in St. Louis this December, where we'll gather leaders currently working on the frontlines of community health; doctors, educators, legislators, community leaders, and advocates. The Atlantic  will host Jackie Joyner-Kersee – one of the most famous and decorated U.S. Olympians in Track and Field history – as the subject of our headline interview. We're pleased to bring an innovative and stimulating conversation on community health to the St. Louis market, featuring a cutting-edge technology for integrating attendees into the on-stage conversation so we can have a truly solutions-oriented conversation based on your feedback. In addition to the keynote interview, our program will divide our audience into small groups solving problems on a key community health question.
Each group will use iPads powered by MtgWorksTM, an app that allows for the rapid collection of responses and the real-time synthesis of key themes. We will then work to explore these key themes with our guest panel in a large discussion. This ‘big-to-little-to-big‘ discussion format promises to engage us all in working together to improve community health.Join us for this critical discussion of the national and local health problems impacting Missouri, and the best practices our experts are uncovering and employing to combat them. .Â
