Taking inspiration from 1940s Los Angeles, John Adams' City Noir portrays pockets of high energy that are nested among areas of leisure in the famed west coast city. Often described as cinematic, the lyrical work combines sassy and savvy together offering a glimpse of a bygone era in a great American city. These will be the St. Louis premiere performances of City Noir.
