Ulisses Rocha, Brazilian Guitarist, In Concert

Join us for a classical and brazilian guitar performance by Ulisses Rocha, sponsored by the University of Florida College of Fine Arts at the Whitney Laboratory CMS Auditorium.
Rocha, born in Rio de Janeiro, studied classical guitar in the 1970’s and expanded into jazz and popular Brazilian music.
Ulisses Rocha’s recording career spans 11 CDs, he has played with such Brazilian notables as Gal Costa, and the group “Boca Livre” and has performed with several Brazilian symphonic orchestras.
