Artaria String Quartet in Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University

The Artaria String Quartet are trying something new this season; concerts with just two pieces, no intermission, designed to let you enjoy a Sunday afternoon, catch a great concert and then have time for dinner. Concert #1 features Haydn's Quartet in G Op. 76 No. 5 and Bartok's Sixth; #2, Mendelssohn's 4 Pieces and Shostakovich's Third Quartet; #3, Brahms' Quartet in B flat and, along with pianist Mary Ellen Haupert, Schumann's Piano Quintet in E flat. Mozart and Debussy finish off the season.
