Some voices just seem made to sing country music. Travis Tritt’s Georgia twang is perfect for delivering working-class anthems, whether rock influenced or in more traditional country styles. While he’d never exactly hidden it, his album "The Storm" (2007) brought out more of his blue-eyed soul abilities as well. (The record was produced by "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson.) Tritt may not be cranking out the hits they way he did in the ’90s, but as long as that voice holds up, he’ll have an audience ready for more. (Steve Pick)
