Christmas is coming early to Spring. The 2nd Annual Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce gala is a distinctive formal affair and is the only event of its kind in the Houston area.
As the summer peaks, and the temperature rise, the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce offers the perfect venue to come in and cool off and celebrate Yuletide early at Shady Oaks. Our Christmas in July festivity provides a fabulous excuse to come in from the heat and savor a delicious Christmas meal with sparkling cider to warm the soul. Rejoice with us and take pleasure in a sumptuous evening with friends, entertaining some of your respected clients in style, or reward your staff for a job well done!

The 2nd Annual Christmas in July Gala promises to be an historic event. We are debuting the “TONI” Awards, whereby we honor our very first “Business of the Year”, and at the same time building on the successes of our inaugural year. In our first year of service to the Spring-Klein Community, we have reinvested over $7,000 back into the Spring-Klein Community. With your help we will continue to do so in 2009. We are launching a special effort to ensure the chamber’s longevity. Gala proceeds will be used to seed a building fund for the chamber and fund our programs -- Jr. Chamber of Commerce, Schoolhouse Rock Back to School Drive, Holiday Food Drive and Christmas Toy Drive.
The theme, Christmas in July, allows us to enjoy sparkling wine, succulent turkey, and the harmonious sounds of Christmas carols. Shady Oaks will be festively adorned with all the trimmings including Christmas tree and colored centerpieces. Feasting commences with a sumptuous buffet and a traditional Christmas Carvery boasting honey glazed ham, succulent turkey, warm cornbread, cranberry sauce, and a delicious assortment of pies. Live entertainment from Braid band will lift the atmosphere to dizzying heights for you to dance the night away. Amidst the celebration, we will pause to give honor to our business of the year with the “TONI” Awards, and host a live auction conducted by Mark Moore, TAL#15019.
The Gala is a major fundraising event for SKCC. Its success largely depends on the participation of the community. We hope to see you there!!!
