Floating Home by David Getz - To look at her home in a new way for an art project, Maxine rides on a space shuttle, where she experiences the many thrills of takeoff and has the opportunity to indeed view her home, Earth, in an entirely new way.
Ravenous Readers is an introduction to a book discussion group for 2nd and 3rd graders. This program is limited to students who live or attend school in Southfield or Lathrup Village. Registration is required and begins the 1st of the month for each program at the Youth Reference Desk. Space is limited.
