The 3rd Annual "Rails to Victory" WW2 Event, hosted by the Fox River Trolley Museum on the beautiful Fox River in Northern Illinois has been scheduled for the weekend of June 7th-9th, 2013. The unique terrain of the Fox River Valley and the proximity to the adjacent Fox River offers unique battle field scenarios.  The year's organizing team include members of the Us 10th Mountain Division, the 709th Infanterie, the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion, and the Rockford… Show more Peaches of the WW2 Girls Baseball Living History League. This years event changes and enhancements include:
- A Larger battle field to include a large open area that can accomodate military vehicles including tanks (Roughly twice as big as last year).
- One showcase battle each day in lieu of two smaller battles.
- German Camp will be located in the museum proper and at the edge of the battlefield so they can properly occupy Paris.
- Additional Reenactor Trolleys to rotate reenactors during the Occupied France Trolley Bridge Skirmishes and Skits to help keep reenactors rested.
- Saturday Evening Rockford Peaches Us Home Front period baseball game in lieu of Sunday morning.

The "Occupied France Trolley Adventure." will once again be a unique feature of the event which will include battle skirmishes under the Stearns Road Bridge on the Fox River. The Fox River Trolley Museum operates a 3 mile period trolley line along the scenic Fox River that will be utilized for Civilian and Military period skits.
