King Philip’s War Reenactment and Lecture
Join the Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society for a weekend of history July 28 and 29 at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse, 1205 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. During the day the Dartmouth Militia demonstrates life for 17th century soldiers. With gear reminiscent of the period, they will set camp, drill and recount the history. Free. Then historian David Norton speaks on the local sites and conflict of the King Philip’s War in Massachusetts on July 28th at 7PM. Members: free, Non-members: $5.
