“Museum Day Live!” at the Smith-Appleby House Museum
Visitors will tour the 18th century Colonial Historic House museum and learn about the family who lived in this home for seven generations.
In addition, arts and crafts fun includes:
Creating paper art called Scherenschnitte, the charming art of paper cutting, fun for young and old alike.
Making a thaumatrope, a popular toy for children in Victorian times consisting of two drawings, one on each side of a stick. When a child quickly twirls the toy, the two images seem to merge.
