The economy being so tight, and being a single disabiled father with a young son, we can't always go to the movies, but today being so hot, I was able to squeeze enough cash to go to the "supposed" family value Apple Valley Mall movies. The girl at the front counter stated that thier new package deal #1 was 10.00, which included a disc. movie pass(5.00)a soda and popcorn, wow, what a deal, NOT. Then I am told by this young lady that because the movie is 3-D it's 3.00 extra, WHAT?? Then that was explained to me, that the Prov. Journal forgot to put that Avatar is 3-D as well as they forgot to put on thier web page that ALL 3-D movies are now 9.50, well how is anyone supposed to know until you get there with an anixous child. I looked at all the glasses left outside the theater by all the people that got ripped off and paid the "surpise when you get here price". The mgr. was stand up enough to honor the 6.50 price which was decent, and was also nice enough to tell me that unlike what the girl said, the super #1 package is 10.00 for popcorn a a soda, no ticket, employees that haven't a clue, great, while waiting for the mgr. to come to the girls radio call 14min.passed of the movie, many people complained about the AC being broken in theater 5 and 6, One couple about my age, said when the mgr. said he'd see what he could do, they just wanted a refund and got it.Again, when I saw the two large boxes with so many used glasses in them I felt bad about all of those others getting ripped off because of the errors of the owner and the greed, shame on the owner for not being stand up and have parents come with excited kids, and being on a tight budget, they got stuck or had to dissapoint thier children, this isn't the first dissapointment at this half run movie business, Lincoln Malls more expensive, but they are a few things that Apple Valley isn't, honest, clean, and stand up to all for any errors or ommissions, they'd rather have you back than squeeze another 3 bucks out of a family.Your success will follow your treatment of your customers, I can only ask, Whats going in there when Apple Valley is out of business. Good Luck.
Amazing!! 3 months and no reply from management
