Justin's Carriage House

We've never liked the food at Justin's, but since it was so close to our home we have given it a try on several occasions. One time a friend of mine got a salad and it was drenched with dressing that ½ his salad bowl was just liquid. We finally started to somewhat enjoy going once a week because we started to get coupons in the mail and we had this nice waitress. She was a bit flakey, but always pleasant. Well the very last straw with this awful establishment started this fall. Our order took forever and was messed up (which happened frequently) and the waitress (not the the flakey one) was SO rude about the mistake. She just blamed it on the cook and almost didn't take the food back saying something about that it was going to take a long time. Then when we went to pay with our coupon for being loyal customers the waitress would not honor it because we ordered sandwiches for dinner. BUT the coupon had a limit that you can only buy one get one meal free up to $12 and most of the entrees are over that. We had been using the coupons for months without any issues. My husband also drinks beer with dinner, so our bill is generally not too small. The waitress was rude and even said that she hates the coupons because it lowers her tip. She went on about how Justin will take the discount out of her pay if she honors the coupon. This made us SO angry. We are good tippers too. We asked for a manager. This so called manager would not honor the coupon either saying that we ordered Lunch for Dinner...but they only have ONE menu and there is no distinction between dinners or lunch and the coupon even had a $ limit to it. I don't think this manager was even a manager...I think it was just another waitress. SO needless to say after years of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt we will never return and tell all our friends and family not to go there. They are pricey, the food is generally bad, and the servers are rude.
