Festival Place

Festival Place is a vibrant multi-use center for the arts, community and business and is a point of convergence for the cultural visions, ideas and energies of the community. We are an entertainment destination at the heart of Centre in the Park, a new community development in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

Since opening in May 1994, Festival Place has welcomed amateur and professional artists to its theatre stage, and has hosted many community activities and events. Each year we offer over 100 professional performances by leading local, regional, national and international artists. Every genre of performance is represented, from blues and Celtic to comedy, world, folk and live theatre. Festival Place is also home to a number of community and regional arts organizations, including our own Festival Players, Festival Players for Youth and Festival Singers.

There are currently over 100 volunteers offering their valued services at Festival Place. Volunteer opportunities include Board member, greeter, coat check attendant, usher, merchandiser and technical support.
