Red Horse is folk’s newest supergroup featuring Eliza Gilkyson, Lucy Kaplansky and Moravian College alumni John Gorka. These three veteran songwriters team up to cover each other’s songs and breathe new life into old favorites. Awash in gorgeous harmonies and simple acoustic production, they’re a perfect patchwork of new and old songs, mixing traditional folk and contemporary Americana.

Folk singer/songwriter Eliza Gilkyson was born in Hollywood, California, the daughter of folk-pop singer/songwriter Terry Gilkyson (1916-1999). Her father wrote and recorded "The Cry of the Wild Goose," which Frankie Laine covered for a number one hit in 1950, as well as the 1953 Top Ten hit "Tell Me a Story," recorded by Jimmy Boyd and Laine....
A singer/songwriter famed for his rich, expressive baritone, New Jersey native John Gorka was one of the leading lights of the new folk movement. Gorka began his career while attending college in Pennsylvania in the early '80s, appearing at open mic nights at a local coffeehouse before eventually forming his own group, the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band....
