Help restore scrub jay habitat at Highlands Hammock State Park - Volunteers Needed!

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Ridge Rangers and Highlands Hammock State Park need volunteers to cut down small sand pines at the park on April 26 & 27. Volunteers can sign up for one or both days. Removing these pines will help restore scrub jay habitat.

Restoration work will start at 9 a.m. and be completed by 1 p.m. The state park will present an educational program about the park to participants afterwards.
