Alice's Restaurant

Alice's Restaurant is located in the heart of Sebastopol, California and is housed in the historic Bank Building, built at the turn of the century, circa 1910.

Yes, Alice's Restaurant is named after Arlo Guthrie's famous friend who started her own restaurant, as well as your local friend Alice. It was in the movie Alice's Restaurant where Arlo uttered our favorite line: “Wow, what I've always wanted!” to which Alice asked, "You've always wanted to own a restaurant?" and Arlo replied, "No...no..., I've always wanted a friend who owned a restaurant.”
