"How The Samurai Saved Us" Featuring David Yamaguchi on Past and Present-Day Tsunami

Tuesday, Apr 30, 2013 7:00p to 8:30p

"How The Samurai Saved Us," featuring David Yamaguchi, who will speak about the book "The Orphan Tsunami of 1700" and show how Japanese Edo-era documents guide present-day earthquake and tsunami preparations in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a fascinating story linking Japan with the US and Canada, by North American Post columnist David Yamaguchi, who worked on this project during 1999-2005.

Emergency Preparedness Kits and the book will be available for sale. Parking in the lot is $5.
