Ladies Day Out with Author Susanne Gervay - Saturday, February 16th @ 10 AM

Susanne Gervay is coming from Australia and touring 16 schools here in NW Washington to inspire kids to open their eyes/hearts to the truth about bullying and also to embrace their own unique identity! We have arranged this event so that Women/Moms can be informed, inspired, and empowered by Susanne's stories and life triumphs!

About Susanne Gervay:
As multiple breast… Show more cancer survivor, she faced cancer when her children were six and nine; when they were teenagers; and again just recently - so she has firsthand experience of how difficult a cancer diagnosis can be on children.
Susanne is an award-winning author, specialist in child growth and development, nationally and internationally recognized for writing stories on social justice from school bullying to burns.
Her books are endorsed by Room to Read, Alannah & Madeline Foundation, Life Education, The Children's Hospital Westmead, and The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
Susanne is passionate about reaching kids, parents, schools, and the community!
