In 1988 Greg Stump, fueled by the powerful skiing of Glen Plake, Scot Schmidt and Mike Hattrup, made a movie called "Blizzard of Aahhh's." It was the first time that ski movie audiences had experienced the sport of extreme skiing, and the images portrayed not only influenced a generation of young skiers, but ultimately changed the sport of skiing forever. As a result, "Blizzard of Aahhh's" is now widely regarded as the greatest ski film of all time.
Now, 25 years later, Greg Stump is back and better… Show more than ever. His new film, "Legend of Aahhh's," traces the history of ski film making from 1930 to the present. One of a kind interviews with Warren Miller, John Jay, Klaus Obermeyer and more, backed by the daring skiing of Glen Plake, Scot Schmidt, Mike Hattrup and some of today's most talented athletes, makes for an unforgettable moviegoing experience. At the request of many die-hard local fans, Greg Stump will be flying to Seattle to premier his new film, "Legend of Aahhh's, In Person. Come early and snag a vintage poster signed by the greatest film maker ever to point a lens at a pair of skis. And once the movie has concluded, your ticket stub will grant you access to the VIP after party where you'll celebrate, 80's ski town style, with the legend himself.
