Phase 3 Events presents a live performance by Whiteout 7, Mike Koglin and DJ Mag.

Mike Koglin burst onto the scene in 1998 with his club anthem and UK top 20 hit 'The Silence', which put Mike firmly on the map as one of the key players in dance music. Since then the Grammy® nominated Producer, Remixer and DJ has has released a constant string of critically acclaimed productions and remixes, earning him overwhelming support from the industry's most recognized artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Above&Beyond or Paul Van Dyk. With forthcoming singles to be released on Anjuna beats, Noys Music and Intuition Recordings Mike Koglin is clearly one of the biggest and most consistent producers in the trance genre to date.

Mike has seen comparable success behind the decks having landed inside the DJ Top 100 this year he has a hectic DJ schedule with worldwide performances at globally renowned clubs, while festival appearances include the San Francisco Love Parade, Belgium's Illusion Festival, Street Parade Zurich, Revolution in Poland, Waterdance Russia, Malaysia's Freedom Elite festival or '2F White' at the Taiwan World Trade Center. And with re-bookings flying in thick and fast, 2009 looks set to see Mike continue to reign supreme in the trance genre. Mike's DJ style is reflective of the tracks he makes driving, energetic and uplifting. Combining Trance with elements from Electro and Techno his peak time sets regularly contain his own personal re-edits of his favorite tracks plus of course some of his own latest productions and remixes.

While running his own label Noys Music, described by Mixmag as 'one of the hottest trance labels in the Uk', Mike has released his work on a plethora of prestigious labels including Anjuna beats, Armada, Ministry Of Sound, Spinnin, 5Am, Ultra Records, Positiva, Mondo Records, Water Music and, last but not least, Intuition Recordings, the label behind his latest masterpiece, Find Me feat. Tania Laila, out soon with massive remixes by Orjan Nilsen, Genix and Khaomeha. With an ever increasing production portfolio and high demand at events all around the world you can be sure you're going to see a lot more of Mike Koglin in future.

A master of all trades, a jack of none, when it comes to hard dance Phil York is running things right now. Producer of recent innovative anthems like Dont Panic' and AntiVirus, a globe-trotting DJ, label owner of hard trance standard setter Tranzlation and promoter of Scotland's number one hard dance night Nuklear Puppy, everything Phil is touching right now is firing on all cylinders and his DJ diary is perfect proof.

It was seven years ago when an ascendant Phil and his partner Jason Cortez gave Edinburgh the hard dance night it was crying out for in Nuklear Puppy. Today, the much loved 'Puppy' is the most reliably packed monthly hard dance night on British soil with the likes of Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Eddie Halliwell, Marco V, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Andy Whitby and the Tidy Boys regularly appearing at the event that handed them their Edinburgh debuts.

It wasn't long before Phil rose to become a global headliner in his own right thanks to innovative boundary pushing productions that have appeared on labels like Tidy, Voltswagon and Masif. It was scene leaders Nukleuz that spotted his talent with 88 MPH and Bad Idea before hard trance classics like 'Glide' and the soaring Angels In Heaven, put his own label Tranzlation on the map as the leader of innovative hard trance, Scot Project, Lisa Lashes, Dave Pearce, Tidy Boys and even the late great John Peel, just a fraction of the DJs caning its early releases.

Nowadays if you think quality hard trance, you think Tranzlation. As labels drop like flies, Tranzlation continues to rise with Phil's astute a&r picking up anthems like Technikal's head-twisting 'Summasault' and Dark By Design & McBunn's fiercely euphoric 'Chasing Angels' and E.P.'s like the Nation and Tech-Trance EP's adding both a thumping European groove and rattling tech energy to Tranzlation's trademark arm-raising euphoria.

Tranzlation, of course, remains just one very key cog in the machine behind York's label empire. Gathering plays from DJs as diverse as Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell to DJ Dan and Detroit legend DJ3000, Phil's Bootek label has put the party back into pumping techno whilst Distinkt resurrects the golden euphoria of classic hard trance. Then there's Phil's Section 8 guise, which he uses for his tougher European sounds. Put simply, if there's a stomping sound that's makes people move then Phil's got it licked.

After first purchasing a pair Technics SL 1210s at the tender age of 15, and displaying almost Zen like commitment to his craft. His big inception coming with winning a DJ competition at legendary welsh night Time in Bangor Kutski is now one of the most respected and talked about artists on the Global Hard scene.
From carving his early niche in the maniacal world of Hardcore, Kutski earned his attention to the slightly flagging Uk Hard house scene and made such a dynamic impact, bringing the harder edged sound back into the limelight.

Radio 1, the world respected and the nations premiere music station, with audiences into the millions, saw the potential shown by this subtle, understated Chester DJ and gave him the biggest career opportunity any talent up and coming can have in this industry, his own residency show! This was part of the catalyst the hard scene needed with an audience listening intently, Kutski started bring Hard music back to the populous and the populous in turn started returning to the dance floors and new blood was finding a whole new way to fill their weekends. This groundbreaking residency show has now become the longest running monthly show in Radio 1 history testament to the impact Kutski has made. Filling in for Dave Pearce in new music we trust show has given another outlet and opportunity to showcase his ability to combine underground beats on a commercial stage without losing and of its credibility.

On a performance level his natural exuberance and awe-inspiring deck-man ship rank him up there among the true greats. The ingredients for a superstar are all in there, the ability to mix anything with anything have left crowds confused with a general how did he do that look across there faces. Technical skill with cuts and loops using every beat and bar of a track keep everything about Kutskis sets fresh and devastating to behold. Then theres scratching on that front he is truly unmatched on the hard scene, picking up a section and manipulating it with ruthless precision before releasing a scratch riff to an amazed audience just gives his already astounding performance that kick to the next level. This talent is best quantified simply by the events he plays at here in the Uk. Repeat performances at the immortal Tidy Weekenders as well as Goodgreef, Godskitchen, Storm, Slinky Opera House Inside Out, Tasty, Frantic, Polysexual, Ripsnorter, Garlands and at each he has forged a loyal following chanting his name Kutski, Kutski, Kutski The best of the Uk festival scene have also included Kutski into their ranks with performances booked in for Escape into the Park, Planet Love and Fantasylands with more to follow.
Never one to turn his back on his roots has seen Him continue sets at the hardcore end of the scale at the focal events such as the aforementioned Fantasylands, Resurrection and the still rising Htid where again sheer love and knowledge of where he came from have seen him stealing the shows at these also.

It is not however just these shores which have born witness to these talents 2008 sees sets at the premiere nights globally also filling his diary. The biggest Hardstyle events are now queuing to add Kutski to there rosters. Q-dance have booked him for their behemoth tour of Australia, where the new alliance of Kutski b2bAlex Kidd is set to light the stages and take the game to the next level. Debuting at the outstanding and world famous Dance Valley is set to be one of the highlights for Kutski this year and a true testament to where he has brought his level to. These will comprise some of the dates for the b2b world tour which will also include hugely awaited returns to both South Africa and clubbers playground Ibiza.2008 is set to be his biggest year to date.
