Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt (Dos Fallopia) ladle up another steamin' portion of Ham--get ready for a platter full! "Lard Potion #9" is the 9th installment in the ever-popular Ham series, and this years show features a cornucopia of cracked characters:
Country-western act The Spudds host "Trailer Parks Got Talent”, Archie & Edith Bunker team up with Cousin Maude to challenge audience members in "All in the Family Feud.” 70s lounge act The Colonel and Shenille warble about light rail, the tiny but determined Sequim Gay Mens Chorus sing with Pride and lots more featuring Seattle favorites, Andrew Tasakos, D.J. Gommels, and Michael Oaks.
Koch and Platt have collaborated as sketch-comedy partners since 1990, and have toured extensively as Dos Fallopia (New York, La, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Provincetown, London). Shows include "Pretty Girls, Not Too Bright," "Twin Sisters of Different Cul-de-sacs," "Desperate Spuddwives" and the ever-popular "Ham for the Holidays" series.
When they're not performing together, the two women pursue busy solo careers. Koch has recorded four solo CD's, is a charter member of Seattle folk-funk quartet Venus Envy, performs regularly on Olivia Cruises, and tours her one-woman shows ("Two's Company, I'm a Crowd," "Return to Planet Lisa"). Platt is well known to Seattle audiences as a standup comic, radio personality, and actor/playwright ("Fat Girl Follies," "Rocky Horror Show," "Holiday Survival Game Show").
