The Black Crowes
The Black Crowes Remove performer from this event
At the time of their 1990 debut, the kind of rock & roll the Black Crowes specialized in was sorely out of style. Only Guns N' Roses came close to approximating a vintage Stones-style raunch, but they were too angry and jagged to pull it off completely....
Bob Weir
Bob Weir Remove performer from this event
Both with his legendary bandmates and on his own, Bob Weir did a lot more than just play Spock to Jerry Garcia's Kirk in the Grateful Dead. His voice, unusual guitar technique, and compositional abilities were important to the overall vision of the Dead from the 1960s on....
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band Remove performer from this event
In their prime, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band successfully mixed together R&B with the instrumentation of a New Orleans brass band. Greensky Bluegrass
Greensky Bluegrass Remove performer from this event
"There's this great duality to our band," reflects Greensky Bluegrass mandolinist, vocalist, and songwriter Paul Hoffman. "We're existing in a few different places at once: we're a bluegrass band and a rock band, we're song-driven and interested in extended improvisation....

Eating Crowe

The vibe was just not there. I'm sure Ed and Marc are glad to know that the Crowes are seriously hurting without them. Neither Chris or Rich seemed "on". Luther's guitar solos just were not good friends. I've seen this band all over the country over the last 20 years almost and never have been let down until towards the end of last year for the first time. I gave them one more chance & regret it. I heard a lot of people saying stuff like "they should bring back Marc" I would hate to see that with his solo/producing career really starting to blossom like it is. Believe me, the Crowes are missing that old chemistry. Sorry guys.
