Before the interstate opened the Adirondack wilderness to the throngs who enjoy it today, Chris Shaw learned stories on the docks of Lake George, in hunting camps, and in the cabins of friends and relatives. For more than thirty years Chris has shared the best of Adirondack culture with audiences from the Philadelphia Folk Festival to the Kennedy Center, and from Anchorage to Berlin. His nationally significant albums are part of the Library of Congress Folk Archives.
