The Great Cloth Diaper Change SRQ

Everyday Baby will be hosting the first annual SRQ Natural Parenting Expo where we will be joining in the attempt to set the Guiness World Record for the most cloth diaper changes around the globe.
In 2012, 256 locations in 15 countries held Simultaneous events to break the world record for the most reusable cloth diapers changes simultaneously. That meant that some events (like in Malaysia) happened at 2am! In 2013, we will be holding a slightly different event. In order to make this event a success and increase awareness of reusable cloth diapers, we need your participation!
Here’s a summary of the requirements for participating in setting the new world record. All requirements must be fully adhered to in order to qualify for the Guinness World Record
- Each location needs to have a minimum of 25 participants (each participant must be 18 or older).
- Each child must be paired with exactly one adult participant. If you have more then one child and adult participant in your family, register Each one separately.
- Baby being diapered must be 39” tall or shorter.
- The clean diaper must be 100% reusable and must be available for purchase by the general public in a retail store or online. Homemade diapers that are not commercially available cannot be used. This is a very strict rule set by Guiness World Records.
- Participants must arrive no later then 10:30 a.m. Sign in will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end sharply at 10:30 a.m. to assure everyone is ready to participate at 11:00 a.m. sharp.
- Please print your registration confirmation and bring it with you the morning of the event.
The first 25 participants will receive a goodie bag full of samples and product! We are asking for a $1.00 donation (or more if you feel inclined) from participants to be donated to assist the non profit Real Diaper Association, in their efforts to help families across the Us and Candada, find and use reusable cloth diapers. You may choose to donate during your registration or bring your donation to the door.
In conjunction with the Great Cloth Diaper Change, there will be an array of vendors, health care professionals and support persons, educators, activities for children and adults, raffles and giveaways and food and beverages! Please come out and help us raise awareness in our community!
