Do you love playing with books and making them into art? Altering books is both a visual and tactile experience. In an altered book, the artist transforms a hardback book into a work of art, by physically altering the book. Students will learn how to create a unique piece of art by taking an old discarded book through a thoroughly enjoyable and artistically “messy” process. The end result is an individually personalized statement in the form of BOOK ART for journaling, displaying and gifting.
