Who’s Visiting Your Backyard? Making an Animal Track Plate Box With Meghan Walla-Murphy

Saturday, Feb 23, 2013 9:00a to 2:00p

In this hands-on, interactive workshop (partly indoors, partly outdoors), experienced tracker and biologist Meghan Walla-Murphy will cover basic tracking skills, how to read a landscape, and review how to identify track and sign. Meghan will teach what a track plate is, how they are used, why they are valuable, and how to make one of your own to take home.

Participants are encouraged to bring a cardboard box. The instructor will provide all other track-plate box making materials.
