Open House Days!

One good reason to attend an Open House, aside from being neighborly, is to get a close-up look at the strange, exotic family that lives at Safari West.

KIDS EXPLORE FREE ON THE AFRICAN QUEEN or NAIROBI BUS
On selected Sundays throughout November and December (excluding holidays) by reservation only, we will offer free admission for kids younger than 13 and reduced prices for everybody else who lives in the neighborhood.
Cost: Adults $25; Two children, ages twelve and under, free with each paying adult. Remember...It's all about Creating Wildlife Advocates!

Each additional child (twelve and under) is $10.00.

Note: Please, no special events or birthday parties could be accommodated during Open House. However, you may book and reserve the Gazebo area for an additional charge of $50 per hour. No balloons or streamers, please.

The African Queen Tour, normally $30 for adults and $20 for children, is a shorter version of the full tour and is not on the power wagons. Guests will ride either on the African Queen trailer or the Nairobi bus for the Open House tour (pictured below).

What happens if it rains....Everybody is going to get wet!
Don't be afraid of getting wet, just come prepared. Bring your galoshes and join the fun. For 30 minutes you will plod through the mud, while viewing and hearing about a variety of birds and mammals great and small, some of which love the rain!

For another 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions, you will drive through the first part of our preserve enjoying a large number of different African mammals. You will also get a very close up look at our giraffes...from their gentle eyes to their 18-inch tongues! They're amazing and beautiful!
