The Steve Lehman Trio featuring Matt Brewer and Damion Reid
When described as “one of the transforming figures of early 21st century jazz,” (The Guardian UK), the bar gets set pretty high. Saxophonist Steve Lehman is delivering the goods, though. A native New Yorker, Lehman has a global fan-base, yet still receives accolades such as #1 Jazz Album of 2009 by his “hometown paper” The New York Times. His trio, with bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Damion Reid, released the eclectic Dialect Flourescent in 2012.
