The Railflowers continue a true American folk revival native to their musical California roots. Hannah, Ellen, and Beth have been given a musical gift that is an orchestra of angels stuck in their throats. Which they have learned to release in the form of some of the most beautiful tones you will ever hear.

Each sister brings forth their own unique style and flavor of songs to The Railflowers. Combining at their core into a refreshing, genuine, and beautiful collaborative tapestry of music. Seeing them perform allows the listener to experience a rooted sound full of many dimensions and voices.

Encountering The Railflowers is to be captivated by their Americana music that takes its notable place amongst an impressive line of California women folk musicians such as; Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Ani Difranco, Kate Wolf, Bonnie Raitt, and Laurie Lewis.

Hannah, Ellen, and Beth Knight began singing together in church in the small collegiate town of Chico, California and continued onto the small bars of Madrid.

Upon returning to the states in late 2010 they formed The Railflowers and shortly then after added bassist Emma Blankenship completing The Railflowers current quartet.

The Railflowers have been awarded the Best Female Vocalists by The Chico's N&R, featured at the renowned California Worldfest, shared the stage with Hot Buttered Rum, The Elephant Revival, MaMuse, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers, Or The Whale.
